Sweatshop Environment in Disguise

Pros

It makes you appreciate life more when you quit

Cons

Working here feels like a sweatshop environment disguised as retail. There’s relentless pressure to hit metrics, with constant negative reinforcement and almost no recognition for doing well. Even full-time employees aren’t guaranteed stable hours as schedules are routinely cut, making it difficult to rely on the job financially. At the same time, management expects completely open availability, which is unreasonable given the inconsistent hours, especially during slower seasons. This makes it nearly impossible to hold a second job or maintain any work-life balance. Overall, it’s an exhausting, unsupportive workplace that prioritizes numbers over employees.

Pros

You get to help your local community and their health and the pharmacy and storefront workers are super helpful

Cons

Unreliable hours, drive through priority, low pay, little to no usable benefits, and the set up for public interaction can lead to misled customers or patients causing you to have to work both as a pharmacy technician and a retail associate at the same time for the pay of less than what a Rx tech should be paid.
