Pros

Good team of people to work with Did not have to start work every day until 9 AM Learned a lot about myself and what is important to me

Cons

Chronically understaffed Little to no training before being put into a store by myself CVS provides no healthcare or benefits until you have been there 3 months Most customers are rude and demanding No time to eat lunch or even use the restroom You are graded on the amount of scripts you fill and you have no time to make sure each is correct Very unsafe environment for customers due to high possibility of med errors Very taxing job both mentally and physically... basically steals your soul a little bit day by day Only 1 week vacation for the first 5 years of employment... also get last choice if you are New because it runs off seniority

Pros

You don't have to worry about work outside of CVS. Work a two work rotating set schedule. Pay is okay. Benefits are average to slightly better.

Cons

No tech help. No empowerment from management. I've worked over 6 months with out my supervisor calling to see how things were going. No acknowledgement for having good weeks. They only point out the bad numbers and what's not great. I go in early always and stay late typically to get things done.

Pros

When I worked here it was flexible scheduling, it was nice, just worked out with my clinic partner. It is a great job to learn the role of the nurse practitioner. They paid well in comparison to competitors.

Cons

Busy, the front line with the patients. Demands for perfect patient satisfaction and high volume. Also don't count on your manager giving you a reference later on (the reason I gave it a 3 star). No job security, they can drop you without notice. Weekends and long hours. Strict on what patients you can see there. No growth opportunities.
