Except technology everything else worry some specific to India, if you expect it as Product based company and join the management of the company worse than service based company infact they adopt all the policies from Accenture without even changing name of the policy.
For example PIP is the term used in Accenture for employees performance improvement program exact same thing used here.
Every other month policies keep on changing like notice period changes, WFH policy changes. When it comes to management changes or restructuring it's every quarter.
Past 3 years annual hike happened once and expect to be the same for next 3 years. Never paid variable pay in full amount avg is 40% of actual amount in 3 years.
Management doesn't care for employees wellbeing nor consider employees feedback.
If you are desperate for job cannot find any where else in IT industry then join here else don't even think of it.
Especially if you are coming from product based company you will find it worse than service based company here
The worst part Indian leadership here behave exactly how they used to do in service based companies since most of them joined from service based companies and never worked with any product based company. I mean the way you take projects from clients similarly the Indian leadership tried to takes projects from global teams. The way service based company joins 1-2 employees first and then owns entire project same thing they try to do here as if it's not the same company.
The president of the company in India is in manufacturing domain so you will get same treatment as industrial labour even though if you join in software domain.
