Pros

Everyone who I have worked with and learned from at CLEAR has inspired me and guided me as I find what I am passionate about and what I can contribute in my professional career.

Cons

This culture is a group of marvelously indefatigable people so if you love to work hard this is the place for you, but if you aren't interested in that, it may not be your home

Easy Job. Horrible Management.

Pros

The work is really easy and simple. Nice pay. Good benefits.

Cons

Clear members are by far the rudest and aggressive customers I’ve ever encountered and I’ve been working in customer services since I was in school. They will verbally and physically abuse you and there’s nothing you can do about it or that’s what management tells us. Almost every manager I’ve worked with at Clear are egotistical and abuse their power. Clear is a private company so that means Clear can do whatever Clear wants to do, which also means your job isn’t secured. It’s always everyone/anyone word over your word. The attendance policy is horrible. We have a point system that mangers don’t keep up with. ATL location is the busiest so the work load is outrageous. We’re always short staffed and late taking our VERY SHORT breaks because of “business needs.” Seems to me “business needs” more ambassadors. This is a job where you have to read the handbook before signing if not you’re not safe and you won’t find out until it’s too late. It isn’t worth the stress nor your peace.

Pros

Working with CLEAR has its good benefits. Commission is very good if you want to make a little extra by signing up customers waiting on the regular security line. And want to something on the side. And use it for personal use. Feeling tired and want a vacation away from your city? this company also provides you with some paid time-off hours, if you want to maintain your budget and not loose money while you are away. Another, pro is that every tool for the road to your success is provided to you. For example, uniform, name tag, shoes. Which is very good and helpful. Lastly another pro on why CLEAR is a good reason to work is the ability to transfer to another station in 31 major cities and more coming up to date.

Cons

Some downsides about CLEAR is that opportunities are given or rewarded to the wrong type of people. Another con about the company is that if you’re not the one bringing more money to the table you will not get the position that the company has open for employees to apply for. No matter how serious you take your role as to protecting airport security you will not be looked as a top candidate for the available position. What your superiors will do is tell you what YOU only want to hear as to why they can’t give you the position. Meanwhile another employee that does the same job as you but brings money at the end of the month has a better shot of getting the position. Another con is that seniority isn’t worth a cent in the company. It is not even worth being a senior in this company because you will still be looked at as a regular employee as everyone else. No opportunities are awarded to you as to your hard efforts you have put 3-4 years in the business.
