Pros

I enjoyed the people I worked with, and the work I did. This was the best company I ever worked for in my forty plus years of work experience.

Cons

The economy went bad and they hired a new general manager for our business unit. He hardly knew me or my capabilities. He just wanted to cut overhead, which meant cutting people. So most of my work was outsourced and I became redundant. I understood why this happened, but it still hurt. I listened in on the CEO's town meeting for employees, and heard him promise that there would be no layoffs. They just weren't going to replace some people if they quit. Oh well, I was just a small cog in a 12,000 employee wheel. At one point I was almost indispensable but as soon as they were better established in our area and my skills weren't quite as crucial, I was gone. I wasn't offered any other chances in the company.

Pros

Amazing benefits package, good environment, most of the employees are pretty decent people. Great teams to work with at times.

Cons

Management, accountability are two that come to mind. Many like to play the political game for one reason or another, usually resulting in the inability to move forward as a company. No actual loyalty to their workers, lots of finger pointing, and overall abusive behavior among some of the admins.

Pros

Love this job. I'm out of the office more often then not helping growers answering questions on there agronomic needs and getting back in touch with the growers and producers. Its a sales job but I don't feel like its a sales job. The best part when its not slow and I need time off for my family there isn't any blow-back from management or my bosses they understand. I know this isn't everywhere but its a nice to feel like I can have a life outside of work.

Cons

The draw back is when things get busy they get really busy in the spring its a 7 day a week job and there isnt enough hours in the day, when its slow its extremely slow.
