      Pros

      Good pay for the industry. Some pretty specific niche jobs.

      Cons

      Project-based billing and scheduling uncertainties mean you could be very busy one week and have little work the next. Company policy says you have to use your PTO for slow weeks, which will drain it pretty quickly.

      Pros

      - Free coke yes, free coke for what its worth and some company discounts too when you sign up with local telcos for their products - If you happen to work on projects that have significant expat involvement then you get to share the glow meaning a better project and possibly salary. Regardless of the goings at home the clients in region working with CH2M are pretty nice chaps and if you are lucky to stay away from office working at clients offices then the merrier it makes the work-life for you.

      Cons

      - Low Salary for engineers. - No clear career path identified to employees. An expat flown in could be doing the same job you are doing but with double the salary of yours and perks. - Business group I worked for was simply acting as front organisation managing largely administrative tasks of helping big MNCs to install their overseas-designed equipment by helping with approvals from statutory bodies in Singapore. This was not even made clear in the job advertisement.
