Pros

Good place to work and retire if you have a god father!!!

They Just keep hype for CH2MHILL brand , I have worked for 4 years during my middle career, should tell it’s a worst place to work if you are an Engineer (which they always claim their core strength) and out side US. No commitment to employees ,no ethics (only in papers). I have joined the company in the same year when Lee McIntire became CEO, “The little Yellow Book”(which they are proud of) is just a crap outside US. No respect to the employees, during last 4 years they have not given any training to any of our staff. It’s the same story every where ,if you are in Middle east, Europe. Every one Knows what they have done to their Poland Employees. Feel pity for HALCROW which they have taken over last year. Engineers are disposable staff,if you are Talent recruiter you are lucky . FORTUNE must check outside US before giving any ranking to companies.

Pros

Immediate co-workers are all pleasant to work with. Virtual Office is nice, corporate is easy to reach, and the internal review process is good WHEN utilized properly.

Cons

Employees are overworked, under-payed, and severely under appreciated. Instead of the Project Manager or Supervisor letting the employees know of upcoming changes, those in this office tend to find out news from our clients - including termination of employees on the contract; example being the PM for the lead company being let go -- PM told client, who then told CH2M staff member nearly a week prior to the lead company PM's termination. When things get rough, or messed up, there is no camaraderie, brainstorming, or even a discussion on how to move forward - fingers are pointed, blame is assigned, and morale decreases further.
