      Pros

      It is a great place to work. My department is more like a family than a group of employees.

      Cons

      There are very few cons. If I had to pick one, I would say that sometimes the company thinks too centralized, instead of distributing work and projects. But, that is common for a large company, so I am not sure if that is really a con.

      Pros

      Immediate co-workers are all pleasant to work with. Virtual Office is nice, corporate is easy to reach, and the internal review process is good WHEN utilized properly.

      Cons

      Employees are overworked, under-payed, and severely under appreciated. Instead of the Project Manager or Supervisor letting the employees know of upcoming changes, those in this office tend to find out news from our clients - including termination of employees on the contract; example being the PM for the lead company being let go -- PM told client, who then told CH2M staff member nearly a week prior to the lead company PM's termination. When things get rough, or messed up, there is no camaraderie, brainstorming, or even a discussion on how to move forward - fingers are pointed, blame is assigned, and morale decreases further.

      Pros

      OMI was a great company to work for ... before OMI was incorporated into the CH2M fold then it all started going downhill.

      Cons

      No sick leave, lousy raises, the management and staff were totally separate and nearly any or all perks were for the upper management. I could go on ...
