Pros

Strong senior leadership who are in tune with the economy and excellent communicators. There are great advantages to working with the best, brightest and by far the industry leader in commercial real estate. Brett White and Cal Frese are top knotch leaders who are responding well to the credit market crisis. There are tough decisions being made to protect the investors, employees and the leadership team has come across as "up-front" and "on-the-level" throughout the process.

Cons

The benefits are not as competetive as other major companies, especially in the fortune 500 arena. The healthcare benefits are expensive but have steadily improved over the last few years.

Pros

The training opportunities are great for project managers! Human Resources recently introduced an online Project Management training course geared specifically for CBRE's industry and clientele. Even better, the training applies towards credit with the Project Management Institute. Not a bad deal! Company pays for certifications, training and industry specific memberships, such as the USGBC.

Cons

Being a large company, it's easy to get lost or disappear from the management radar screen. While I'm pleased with the level of trust provided to me to complete projects, it would be nice if management checked in once in awhile to see how a project is going. When the client is giving you rave reviews about your performance, it doesn't really help your career if your senior management is unaware.
