Pros

Some of the younger engineers are easy to get along with, like in every office there are some to watch out for. The benefits package is quite good, so is the ability to get stock options upon employment. Pay wise, most times its required to work > 40 per week (at times > 50), its compensated at your salary, so that is a major plus for the pocket, especially if your're single. The company is two levels, manufacturing and hardware downstairs and programming upstairs. There is a cafeteria on site, so its not necessary to drive off for lunch. Parking is adequate as well.

Cons

Some cons include long hours and lack of communication between other programmers in the same group and even group management. Inter group communication is low, unless you find a friend in another group. Learning out side your group is also difficult. Long hours are required sometimes. Also there are no windows, so its a pretty grey and dismal building on the inside.

Pros

-Onsite visit to Montreal ( if you are lucky) - You may sit idle for long time, if you are intended to prepare for competative exams then its a good company.

Cons

There are many to list - Management keeps changing every year in the name of 'transformation' - There is not vision for India especially Software Engineering Group and Courseware/Techpubs - No career growth - Although you are performing well you may be fired if Montreal doesnt feel to carry out the particular task should not be done in India - Every manager gets fired in one or two years in the name of transformation/restructuring/vision - Lack of leadership globally and India- every company in world wants to outsource to India( Indeed CAE Director/CEO may want to do it, but no support from Execution team managers/SSAs/PDLs from Montreal) -HR is very much pathetic, even for the current employees and for the one who has left the company. People may not get relieving letters many a times and you will not be answered by anyone if you try to call. (HR team itself is unstable, keeps changing. Only HR director is fixed like Fevicol
