Pros
If you are a big fan of airplanes, you will enjoy working there. I had the chance of working on various flight simulators and it is always a thrill to fly them to test your simulation software. You also get the opportunity to travel to customers' sites to complete the installation. There are various engineering departments, so, if you get bored, you can do a lateral transfer and work on something completely different.
Cons
As with most public companies lately, we work a bit understaffed and with the pressure to deliver. We have to learn a lot of technology mostly by ourselves but, I think it is the case for all software related jobs. It can take a while to adopt new software technologies at CAE.
