      Benefits are immediate for full time employees Good balance between routine work and challenging task

      Cons

      Pay is below industry standards and raises are minimal, if any. No room for advancement Very little feedback from management Little to no recognition Not enough employees to cover a 24/7 operation No formal job training, very "learn as you go" for such a technical career.

      Pros

      Good company to work for, good benefits, exciting products. Strong software architecture and methodology. There is a focus on improving methods and tooling to provide top-notch software engineering. Compensation for entry-level positions remains competitive. Great opportunities for international travel.

      Cons

      Hour-glass organisational structure. Promotions are rare for the technical (non-management) track. Compensation is below average for individuals with 10+ years of software experience.

      > Global network presents unique opportunities to get exposed to global business > Big in its' space but a small company approach to work and decisions > By and large good and competent people at work > Ambitious growth plans and strong balance sheet

      > Industry cyclicality always a threat ( past record on lay offs) > Very little exit opportunities > Limited growth opportunities as people don't quit and large layers of management of long timers > Lack of transparency on work environment and on what constitutes good work performance > Too many old timers limit fresh thinking and growth opportunities for newer employees
