      Pros

      Using a cool toy, location near the city (10 km), overtime paid (see cons), used to have nice perdiem policy (now gone)

      Cons

      Salary under average (about 15k$), night shifts, week-end shifts, no advancement possibilities, required to travel multiple weeks abroad without any compensation.

      Flexible schedule, frendly people, ability to work from home

      Cons

      Upper management is lost in the vacuum of what seems to be a separate universe inaccessible to regular employees. In quite a few instances, I've seen good leadership be demoted or let go for no obvious reason. Frequent reorganizations, changes in objectives, the never ending ERP system implementation, just to name a few...

      Pros

      Although its 40 hours per week, overtime is paid but no bonus. The company "encourages" mobility within the company. Insurance can be refused, to compensate they pay you the insurance cost as CAE Dollars. Christmas period is closed for a week and a half.

      Cons

      Higher management acts on their own personal benefits. 40 hours per week schedule. Survey results on employee's commitment are very very low, but nothing is done to change the situation. Most colleagues are looking elsewhere to change job and are unhappy.
