Pros

Some of the fellow workers are good, most keeping their heads down until retirement, or moving on as soon as an opportunity arises.

Cons

Top management of CAE in Canada ignore reality, and just send out the noise that they want to hear. Burgess hill managers are now perfect examples of the 'Peter Principle', such a shame as they did not use to be like that. HR dept just do what the management tell them to do. No independence at all.

Pros

none that I can think of

Cons

No growth at all and i would say that, it is not an aerospace/aviation company at all as no work is done following aerospace/aviation standards and tools. It is a place where if a person with aerospace/aviation domain comes will forget all what he knows, as the work here will make him incompetent and unworthy of competition outside. CAE experience is not useful in other job as no industry standards are followed. job is never guaranteed. CAE-Simulation Technologies, India. just hires/fires for the heck of it. Hiring happens without proper clarity/visibility of work inflow. There is no vision ...and the managers are the most incompetent lot, they are just getting fat packages without doing any work, neither do they want to bring in any work as they themselves are inefficient to do anything. HR and the admin are even worse.

Sad at the direction of this company

Pros

The people I worked with across the country and world are still some of my closest friends. Working with healthcare providers to impact patient safety was such a worthwhile occupation.

Cons

Once METI was purchased by CAE, the company went from a learning company to a simulator company. The management has no clue that the education part of the company impacted the sales at a very high level. In addition, the sales force was extremely low in numbers compared to its rival companies all along. Now, with eliminating sales and education employees at regular intervals it certainly will get worse. HR did not maintain my confidentiality while an employee which led to some difficulties in my last days. I'm glad I am gone; I'm sad for my friends who won't find another job before they get laid off in the next round.
