Being made redundant through Facebook
Pros
Lots of autonomy Bonus scheme (We received it 2 out of the 6 years I was employed) Casual office attire
Cons
- Being made redundant through Facebook - 6 years of hard work and management did not even contact me to explain why or what was happening - My manager had never led a team before and it really showed, did not receive any performance reviews in my 6 years - Revolving door in the transformation space for the last 2 years, I think I worked with around 30 different Project Managers and Business Analysts - The digital team that work in Nottingham speak down to people that do not work in the digital team. The worse case of this I can think off was one member laughing about the retail employees being furloughed. - A lot of weekend work and unpaid hours - Was made to take two weeks holiday before my redundancy while being furloughed (I even heard of people that owned the company money off the redundancy after this) - A lot of affairs going on which makes the office full of drama and very hard to navigate sometimes this is from directors to entry-level jobs
