Pros

Working at Burger King is great work if you enjoy hard work for low pay, Smelling like a hamburger after work and a low level of respect from the customers you serve. That said I believe it's a great job for those in need of a humbling experience. Perhaps a teenager.

Cons

Some of the downs employment at burger King would be a generally greasy work environment. The Cleaning is endless the don't have a janitorial staff so that means the same employee cleaning the bathrooms is also making the burgers. Also the pay scale is low and customer treat you poorly.

Pros

The work is easy, you generally work with high school kids so it's a laid-back, fun environment. You get away with doing below-average work or calling in sick often because employees are interchangeable.

Cons

There are tons of employees and tons applying all the time. Basically anyone that walks in the door can do the job you're doing and will be hired if they apply. They don't notice if you're doing an awesome job or a poor job. You only get 50% off food WHILE YOU'RE WORKING (or 30 min before or after a shift) and NO ADDITIONAL DISCOUNT when you're off the clock (completely unacceptable for a restaurant, especially such a crappy, cheap one). They're very cheap and do everything possible to cut costs, including, at my Burger King, throwing away free employee meals (given as reward coupons when drive-thru time was under 2 minutes) if employees forget they've won one or accidentally leave it on the board long enough for the owner to notice.
