      Pros

      Those who are permanent workers do enjoy many benefits such as paid vacations, health insurance and so. Also, it may be a really safe job, since it is very hard to fire a permanent worker.

      Cons

      Most of the government employees have short-term contracts and do not have all those benefits. Also, you work as a freelancer and you have to pay your health insurance for your own.
