Pros

Great office environment Great learning and involvement with local govt Access to Brit Council Libraries Access to international travel & exposure Give employees freedom & empowerment Access to The Brit Club as permanent staff

Cons

Salaries for junior staff are not market competitive or equivalent to the amount of work being delegated. British Council claims to be a charity and opt for cost cutting, whereas they operate one of the largest business all over the globe. Lavish spending being done on 5 star hotels , 1st class travel and training of partners etc, whereas the same budget can be spent on employees well-being instead.
