      Pros

      Lots of roster control (if you’re senior), good discounts on hotels and car hire etc, good staff travel benefits.

      Cons

      Can be a negative place to work sometimes.

      Pros

      An amazing opportunity to travel the world. I visited places I most likely wouldn't have, had I not done the job. I also really enjoyed the 'work' side. If you enjoy a fast paced environment and being kept busy, it is a fitting role. It can be demanding and challenging like any customer facing role, but I would say I never really felt like I was going to 'work' and never really dreaded it. It was without a doubt the best decision I made and I had the best year of my life. I miss it often.

      Cons

      Long days and jet lag can be difficult to manage, and isn't something many people understand until they have done it.
