Pros

A good blue chip company to work for, diverse opportunities, but the working environment is very fluid. Good team spirit among staff despite recent hits to moral. Good final salary pension scheme for those that got in in time, and staff travel opportunities are great for those who want to take advantage.

Cons

Feel there has been a cultural change recently, and not for the better, it just seems management are less open and honest. Also, penny-pinching extends to stationary, so bring your own pen, paper and post-its!

Pros

It was a very up-beat and fast paced environment which always kept you on your toes and never left bored. Allowed me to meet thousands of people from all over the world, broadening my knowledge of other cultures. Also, discounted airline tickets on British Airways and other airlines to anywhere in the world.

Cons

At times flights would run late or would be cancelled leaving customers angry and more often than not took it out on the employees. Things could become too hectic at times, and you needed to pay close attention the boarder control regulations which, at times, can be tricky until you start to memorize the rules and regulations.

Pros

Staff travel although worse than that of other airlines

Cons

They lie just about anything to keep up the reputation they're bound to lose. They say the customer is at the heart of the business, the biggest lie ever. Money is at the heart of the business and the management, especially the middle management, very arrogant and incompetent, will do anything to get their bonuses including bullying their subordinates and always going for the cheapest options in order do show immediate apparent savings which in the long term turn out to be loss making and hugely expensive. A poisonous culture has taken over in this company by which everything is considered an unnecessary cost, from staff to the product offered which is absolutely cheap.
