      Toxic atmosphere with a troubled future

      Pros

      There are good people at Brink's wanting to make a difference. Individuals care a great deal about the company and its success. Some of the benefits are nice such as the 401k, though the medical and lack of tuition reimbursement makes it hard on large families and people wanting to finish college degrees.

      Cons

      The top level of leadership doesn't provide a stable or sound vision of how the company plans on leap frogging the competition. The top heavy corporate office absorbs any profitability in the field and this trend continues to grow with reductions at the bottom and promotions at the top. The cronyism is killing the U.S. and everyone knows it except for Richmond.

      Brink’s Incorporated has decent employee benefits, such as, health insurance, 401k, dental coverage, vision, and there is usually steady work.

      Cons

      The industry is declining and revenue is decreasing. Brink’s Incorporated discourages intelligence and hard work. The organization rewards employees that are subpar; employees that make frequent mistakes and that perform tasks slowly are rewarded with less work for the same pay. The advancement opportunities do not correlate to skills, abilities, training and experience; rather it is who you are friends with and their position at that time.

      - Never knowing when you will be off. - Some of the trucks are old and the AC doesn't work.
