Decent, but not easy for beginners
Pros
Good benefits, paid time of and holidays. Mostly easy to know what to do, and keep busy. Slow sometimes. Flag rate hours are confusing at first.
Cons
No classes or anything. The only way to learn is to watch and ask older techs or go to school for it. You need to be fast, or management will chew you up. Some things are doable, others are ridiculous, and there's always a possibility of hitting a snag. Need tools, the more the merrier, especially a ratchet set, an impact wrench, and a drill or automatic screw driver and plenty of different bits. I see most people working 5 or 6 days a week. Management complains when you ask for a break. So even if you are scheduled one at it's busy, and you're hungry, they'll bark at you and tell u to do one more thing then one more then one more.
