Pros

There were very few pros to working in the MET marketing team. It did however provide direct insight into what an entry level job at a firm with no interesting clients might be like.

Cons

Some supervisors will try their best to pay you as little as possible. I worry that some of the MET marketing staff was depressed. Almost never got to meet with clients, and that is important to me in order to feel connected to my work/ see who I'm helping.

Pros

flexible work schedule with professor, work dependent on the class being taught and the supervisor/professor working with during the semester.

Cons

Graduate Teaching Assistant paid independent of hours in class room, but instead the amount of hours determined for a Graduate Teaching Assistant

Pros

-The staff were friendly, welcoming, understanding, approachable, interesting people -I had great conversations with co-workers -I felt like my work really did contribute to people's education

Cons

I was a student who could only work a few hours a week. I was told going into this job that my salary would be about $18/hour, but when I actually did the math it turned out I was only given $15/hour -- even less after taxes. This was still more than enough for my needs as a student in the dorms, but I'm a little miffed that my pay turned out to be so much lower than I'd thought I was getting.
