Benefits are outstanding, including tuition remission program. Beautiful urban campus close to Charles River, Kenmore Square.

Cons

Little upward mobility. Management quality varies wildly and physical space is at a premium. New policy communication often breaks down between central and various schools within University.

Academic research positions (not specific to BU) don't pay as much as Industry positions. It is hard sometimes to not dream of switching over to the dark side...
