Coworkers are fun, the students (customers) are hungry for new knowledge and skills development, and the freedom to manage your own work without undue oversight and micromanagement.

Cons

As a contract worker don't expect to ever have a department head enter into a dialog about your performance -- or ever receive an increase in compensation for delivering results.

big city environment, professional and helpful professors, open atmosphere, opportunities to meet great alum and learn from them

Cons

compared to NYC, I guess Boston is still lagged behind, and also I wish I could have been more tortured at school, sometimes I guess BU could make its students busier.
