Pros

Lots of opportunities to network. Love the city, lots to do. Research is interesting.

Cons

Dismal pay as a graduate student. Not a lot of career development guidance for after graduation. Support from administration is lukewarm after first year.

Pros

Was able to practice typing skills and paying attention to detail. Could listen to music. Organizing materials enabled you to see how creative you can get with the files. Everyone was working, no one was working more than another.

Cons

Minimal talking, very quiet work environment. Computers were old. Do not expect to make friends within the office since there is limited communication.
