Relatively easy job duties, and great benefits including tuition remission (huge!), paid holiday intercession, good vacation and sick time, holidays parties, etc

Very low pay, esp in comparison to other private higher education institutions around Boston

Pros

The department is very helpful in ensuring the PhD students are doing their job well as TAs. Overall, the professors teaching the courses are very comptent

Cons

Some people get a small teaching workload while others get much more work. The grading is very time consuming and takes away from courswork.
