Pros

Some of the benefits I had working at Boston University included close relationships with professors, lenient hours and deadlines, and reasonable compensation for an undergraduate.

Cons

It was at some times unclear what the direction of our work was. The general purpose of the study lacked a clearly defined structure, which made research more difficult.

Pros

Decent pay in select departments for work-study or part-time work. Tutoring pays even more at around $11-12 per hour.

Cons

Pay should be higher for student jobs considering cost of attendance
