Pros

My time at Booking.com has been so far such a positive and enjoyable experience! It’s a great place to work, with a really welcoming and supportive vibe. I’ve been lucky to have amazing colleagues – everyone is super friendly and always happy to help. And the office? Absolutely AMAZING – it’s just a really inspiring place to be.

Cons

While my experience at Booking.com has been mostly great, there are a few challenges worth mentioning. It can be quite hard to get promoted, as growth opportunities aren’t easily accessible. Some people hold on to a “this is how we do things here” mindset, which can make it tough to introduce new ideas or ways of working. Decision-making also tends to be slow at times, which can be frustrating when you're trying to move projects forward. That said, these are areas with room for improvement, and they don’t take away from the many positives I’ve experienced overall.

Hi, thank you for sharing your experience at the company so far. We are happy to hear that you are having such a positive and enjoyable experience, and that the workplace culture, your colleagues and the office all contribute to your overall feelings. At the same time, we appreciate your feedback regarding the career growth development, the challenge to propose new ideas, and the decision-making process. We encourage you to schedule a meeting with your manager to discuss ways to propose new ideas to improve ease of work. Please know that we continue to develop and revamp our training and development practices to offer more promotions and career growth opportunities within the company. However, in an international organization, like ourselves, some roles may not be available for certain locations. We encourage you to keep monitoring our internal career site for opportunities that might match your interests. Finally, we recognize that our decision-making process can feel slow at times. However, teamwork and succeeding together is an essential value at Booking.com, and we believe that involving your co-workers is critical for the success of every project. While this may sometimes lead to slowing down progress, we value the diverse perspective of our teams. Thank you again for your thorough review, and we wish you continued success with your career at the company. The Booking.com team

Pros

My time as a Senior Account Manager at Booking.com was truly a highlight of my career. The travel opportunities were incredible — I had the chance to visit new places, experience different cultures, and build strong relationships with partners around the world. Booking.com also invests heavily in leadership development. The training programs were thoughtful, high-quality, and gave me real tools that I still use today. I always felt like my growth and career development were a priority. The team environment was another major standout. I worked alongside talented, supportive, and driven colleagues who made every day rewarding. On top of that, Booking.com really knows how to make work fun — we had so many amazing team events that built genuine friendships and unforgettable memories. Overall, it’s a company that cares about its people, pushes you to grow, and creates a culture where you can truly enjoy the journey. I’m so grateful for my experience there!

Cons

Be prepared to work hard! This isn't really a con though.
