Pros

Even thought the benefits have diminished over the years Boeing still offers good benfits in the form of free healthcare for employees and a robust eduction assistance program.

Cons

In the case of cons, this goes to the specific program I work with in the Boeing Integrated Defense System and can not be used in reference to other programs. The ability to get formal training to improve one's skill set is very limited. Adding to the fact that raises and promotions can be somewhat skewed based on the what larger Boeing wants wears on employees. In order to truly get an increase in pay or learn a true skill set you have to move to another program.

Pros

Good work life balance. Fun, interesting people to work with. Usually realistic deadlines and schedules. Interesting work exists, but you have to find it yourself. Great benefits.

Cons

Co-workers were not technically adept enough to make working there truly interesting and to get hard work done. Things happened at a snail's pace.
