Pros

Our franchise is probably one of the largest globally (a completely unfounded assumption, but all 8 London stores are part of Concept Living Ltd Franchise) Our Franchise owner is a talented and inspirational woman with absolute passion and amazing energy for her business. You can make a mint out of commission if you sell well... the commission structure is excellent and staff bonuses and rewards are fantastic. The Directors and the Owner are all approachable and smart people, good at their different, specific duties always on call via mobile to offer support whenever you need it! This company is always striving to improve.. and just gets better every year. Customers of our Franchise receive second-to-non customer service, with ANY issue dealt with sympathetically and efficiently until the customer is completely happy with the resolution. The Owner/Directors throw brilliant Christmas/Summer parties for staff every year Good staff discount on products Very team orientated... competitiveness is managed and rewarded positively so there is not a dog-eat-dog mentality

Cons

In amongst all the highly talented (and gorgeous/fashion conscious) staff you can feel overlooked and unrewarded as an individual... (which is usually offset by the rewards you receive as a team) The basic pay is low... so if you are in a struggling store it can be depressing, but you have to be very self motivated to bring in business You work EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND God sends. That's the hardest part of all... but you do have holiday entitlement you can use on weekends

Not a great franchise model

Pros

Turn-key furniture franchise business with support from the franchisor in marketing, sales, training, and best practices.

Cons

Not a proven profitable business model for franchisees with low margins, high costs and perceived value of product not in sync with retail prices. The franchisor focus is not in dealer profitability.
