Pros

Lots of supportive senior talent and supervisors. Lovely location outside NYC. Most roles are full-time staff (job security in film production is so rare).

Cons

Blue Sky management has very little autonomy (not that they'd do much with it if they had it). Politics and "sudden emergencies" from the Fox lot in LA are frequent and usually pointless.

Pros

The people and talent; casual atmosphere

Cons

A lot of sequels brings down morale on the teams; feels like we lose a company perk with each film. Communication between departments is not the best.

Pros

- Lots of room for your input. - If you work hard and have good ideas, you can go really far here. - Great team. - Depending on your dept, the hours are excellent with very low overtime.

Cons

- Little bit smaller than a usual BIG studio, so there are organizational problems that go along with that. - Pay is on the low side. - Supervisors/Production staff can be frustrating. - The FOX factor : movie stories will always be super silly.
