      Pros

      Biogen IDEC is working towards bettering the lives of people with debilitating illness rather than just looking for "Me Too" drugs. The compensation is very competitive and the 6% 401k matching is an industry best. Very interested in employee retention and upward mobility.

      Cons

      Haven't worked in the position long enough to properly evaluate cons for the company. They require me to show up for work if I want to get paid.

      Good Growth company. Good benefits package. Good place to establish processes and procedure. Overall it is a decent place to be

      Lack of mgmt abilities to take a clear direction on issues No proper guidance. Lack of good clinical development knowledge

      Pros

      Good pay and benefits. Individual therapeutics areas retain small biotech feel. Transparency in corporate goals and objectives and safety in that they want the company to stay independent and be the best it can be. Strong pipeline and future revenue potential.

      Cons

      Managers who do a good job but treat those under them with disrespect and contempt continue to be rewarded as good managers.
