Pros
Salary, benefits, salary, benefits, easy to get promoted
Cons
When I started in supply chain here in the initial stages, I was greeted by an engaged team and a fully competent leadership that knew how to get things done. We worked very hard and felt appreciated. The manager I had has long left Zug and the new leadership from other Big Pharma doesn't understand what it was that attracted us to this group. There is good intention, but going from best in class to blah does not excite me anymore. I was hired as a supervisor and had many promotions so far. I could have never been promoted this much if I worked for another company. I do miss my old boss who I could actually learn from. Sometimes I think everyone will be able to tell that I don't know what I am doing but nobody seems to care. I no longer have a mentor. It has become a paycheck and nothing else. Who likes to see all the hard work they put in go down the drain? I am paid very well, but really I stopped learning years ago and really I work with employees who have checked out or who come in inexperienced. Some people managers think it is ok to yell at employees when they have a bad day and HR did nothing. Some have been moved to Japan which has eased tensions, but it is still depressing that they still have jobs. No real leadership or vision anymore.
