Unwilling to listen and change

Pros

Great benefits, most (not all) people have a good heart and really care about patients. Great focus on diversity and inclusion.

Cons

Can't get out of their own way. There are so many things that are easily fixable if the people who've been there for such a long time would actually listen to the newer people who've brought valuable experience with them. But instead new ideas are met with resistance. Things are disorganized, unclear roles, gaps and overlaps, outdated processes and thinking.

Pros

Cons

After allowing people to WFH for the pandemic there is a big forceful push to bring people back in the office. However, there are not enough desks and the place is filthy. No one has presented a good reason for coming in the office other than to micromanage the already stressed out employees. Work/Life balance is slowly being phased out. Career growth is a joke and subjective. If you are great at being a brown-nose, you'll go far. Don't challenge authority even when they are wrong. They don't like it and you'll never get promoted. Be careful of all the carrots that are dangled to make you stay. As soon you spot the first lie - leave!
