Confidence does not equal competence

Pros

There are truly no pros for this company.

Cons

This company has gone completely off the rails. The company strategy of laying off people to balance books is backfiring astronomically because leadership truly has no idea what the operations are on a day to day basis. Leadership doesn't even know how to access basic information available in our electronic document system, the very system that houses our SOPs but wants to make decisions without knowledge. Leadership displays a level of confidence that borders on audacity but doesn't have any competence. The decisions they make demonstrate that they aren't competent in their roles and will just make life difficult for operations to actually work. The disconnect between leadership and operations continues to grow and I fully expect there to be implications to patients within a few years.

Sinking Ship - A workplace full of Politics and Racism

Pros

Good Benefits, Great hardworking Colleagues at front line

Cons

Company had frequent layoffs, almost every year since 2015. At face they would pretend to have measures such as employee retention and DE&I B.S., but at the end of the day the company supports favoritism over merit. Yes you get rewarded for being a “yes man” . People at leadership level have no clue or long term strategy which is evident from the fact that they end up laying off people every year because they are playing the trail and error game. People are more concerned and are in constant fear as to who would get laid off in next round/ year and that defines the work rather than what’s actually needed to be worked.

Pros

Receptive management, upper management and leadership. Very good opportunities for advancement and recognition, very good benefits package.

Cons

Prior to a world event that started March 2020, I would have had no cons to offer, but, sadly, this company navigated world events internally by towing the line of the WHO and the media, rather than standing strong on their scientific expertise. BLM was supported as were divisive messages, sensitivity and tolerance was pushed harder than it already was but only in on direction. They reversed course on months of assurances they would not mandate the V, yet within a week of FDA approval, they announced mandatory V for all. D & I is also mandated for all employees , and level of participation in D & I activities makes up 20% of your quarterly review and bonus, but D & I only applies to protected classes. If you have traditional values and opinions, your diversity is not included and cannot be discussed or represented. Your human rights for all other reasons --scientifically valid or not-- are upheld and celebrated at this company, except for your human right to make your own health care decisions.
