Difficult to advance Leadership seems more concerned with EPS and not making the wrong decision than setting the company up for long term success Everything hangs on aducanumab Very difficult to move up in technical roles Entry level pay raises are small

promising pipeline, Biogen is trying to be innovative in the way how job is done, benefits ok if you negotiate and make a high salary entrance at the begining

Cons

Unfortunately very political place, career development and growth lies only in the hands of your direct manager: meaning if you do not get along with your direct manager, despite how talented you are, all doors are closed. Too much focus on the Biogen Elements, most cases hypocritical, values not in the DNA of the upper management.

Good salary, good benefits, good perks, some really great people

Cons

Communication and transparency don’t exist. Value of individuals is often not recognized. IT is essentially run by quality with excess process and poor quality systems and products. Too many consultants and not enough internal knowledge. Very hierarchical with little room for growth.
