      Great culture promoting life-work balance. Competitive work environment.

      Cons

      Heavy workload, long hours. Stressful work environment. New company strategy and organization is not clear and many groups are under staffed due to recent layoffs. No punishment for poor performers.

      Pros

      Average benefits for biotech, which is above average for most other industries. Mostly good people dedicated to making patients' lives better. Reasonably current on technology with good training opportunities.

      Cons

      There are a lot of contractors and short-term fix mentality must be challenged on a regular basis. Some administrative departments are very cliquey and can be difficult to support. Longer hours than should be are required for similar work done at similar companies. Not the greatest work-life balance.
