Pros

Paid time off is fairly generous right out of the gate. Pay stagnates, so negotiate a great salary when you come in...new hires are in the driver's seat. If you're not willing to relocate, you probably won't get all that many 'growth opportunities' so if you want to live locally long-term, be sure you keep that in mind.

Cons

I'm not certain our senior or site leadership really know what they want to be when they grow up...other than successful at getting their next position. They simply are unwilling to enforce any rules, other than falsification of documents. Anything else, you can truly get away with murder. Accountability is a joke because THAT might tick someone off, and that might hinder your next promotion.

Pros

Nice facility, good cafeteria, Company store selling Bayer products for very cheap price and Short-term / Long-term bonus + retirement pension.

Cons

Too much politics. One would get promoted ONLY if you butter up senior management. Otherwise, you are treated as a slave. HR group is absolutely non-functional and cater to management demands. No accountability when product batches get rejected. Berkeley site has remained single commercial product site for last 15+ years.
