      My overall experience with Bayer is mixed.

      Pros

      The individuals I worked with made the job interesting and good to be a part of a team that was producing excellent standards in medicine making.

      Cons

      Some of the downsides with Bayer are the things that plague many corporations. The old boys net work is still alive and thriving. Men are promoted with little or no experience and women have to still take a back seat to their counterparts.

      Great culture and people highly skilled and professional

      Cons

      New leadership doesn’t know what to do with the low stock prices, and new ceo has thrown the value of the company through the window, replacing it with his own “dynamic shared ownership” that nobody understands or have experience with.

Any change of this scale requires tough questions, challenging decisions, and some temporary discomfort including changes to reduce layers and simplify structures. We're working towards that and are thankful for feedback as we move through the process.
