first off, the hours were horrible. you would be "guaranteed" hours on the schedule and then you would have "call-ins" in which you really weren't even needed. i only worked there for about 3 weeks and just got completely fed up with it. occasionally i would get called a day before a "guaranteed" shift and be told i wasn't needed. other times i'd be called in on my day off to come and work for three hours. i have never worked in a place that was so obsessed with numbers either. you had bi-hourly goals to meet, and if it was ten till and you had twenty more dollars to make, you better hustle that woman looking at soaps on over to the cash register so that the goals would be met! from what i saw, this company doesn't care about its customers OR its employees. the employee restroom in the back of the store was essentially an extra stock room with a toilet. how sanitary is that?! and the actual stock room itself was a mess of flimsy particleboard shelves with overloaded boxes of unmarked god-knows-what that we'd have to continuously sift through and put on the shelf, only to re-box it up three days later when it was time for a floor change. i went from being a loyal customer to working here, only to never even want to shop here again.
