Pros

Great Products - Good Discount - Awesome Customers

Cons

Senior Mngmt. very disrespectful - no organization - every person in management tells you to do things in a different way and therefore they are never happy! Training is pretty non-existent. There are different rules for different people depending on whether you are buddies with the senior manager. An employee who is friends with the manager was allowed on more than one occasion to wear shorts (even on Christmas Eve) when it is against dress code - anyone else would be sent home. The coupons customers bring in are too confusing not only for the consumer but for employees as well - which ones can be combined, can you use on sale items, etc. ? Manger yelled at employee at the register and the CUSTOMER had to tell her to be respectful and give the new girl a chance.

Pros

-Good hours (but you have to bug them to give you hours, or else you won't get any.) -FINALLY a good management team. Great leadership and communication. -Fun atmosphere. -Awesome discounts at all Limited Brand stores (including Victoria's Secret.) -If you work hard, it will pay off eventually. -Floor sets are awesome and tons of fun. Management brings in pizza and soda for us.

Cons

-Management turn-over has been too much. We've gone through five Store Managers in the past year. Finally have some stability, though. -If you're not pushy about it, you will not get hours, and mostly call-ins. -Floor sets are LATE and screw up your sleep schedule. -Must call in 2 hours before call-in shifts. -Co-workers can be irritating and lazy... Management won't fire them, just give no hours to force them to quit.

Pros

-The employee discount for Limited Brands Stores -The contests -My store always had some treats/candy to take home during holidays -Co-workers were nice to work with -Got the days off that I needed and even though I was scheduled to have call-ins, I never had to worry about having to come in

Cons

-Management too pushy to "sell, sell, sell" to customers. As a customer myself, I hate when sales people constantly market. It gets really annoying. Corporate really needs to rethink their marketing strategies. - Sometimes I could tell mgt. would secretly talk about me and my co-workers' performance and then have one of the CL's come and "coach" us. I wish that they would just be honest and upfront, instead of so sneaky. - Not enough hours. It was really aggravating because they would schedule me for a certain amount of days, usually 4 and I would work only one or two of them. It was annoying because at the time I was traveling back and forth to visit my family for the holidays and I would leave them early to come back only for mgt to tell me I didn't have to come in! sigh. -Not enough opportunity for growth. -Didn't train employees well. Mgt. expected new hires to understand everything perfectly and do it correctly every time and it just wasn't realistic at all. -This isn't a good job for those who are more introverted or reserved, because they expect you to hound people every second, and if you're like me, you won't like it at all. I felt like I was bothering people. I don't mind greeting people, telling them the deals, and asking them if they need help, but I won't stalk them every second around the store!
