Pros

There are many perks to working at BBW. One is the friendly people you get to work with everyday, and another is the wonderful customers you meet. Things can get pretty hectic around Holiday, but it can still be a fun job. it's what you make of it that counts!

Cons

The only, and I repeat, ONLY thing I would have to complain about is the "call-in" policy. You have to wait to call in an hour before your shift to see IF you had to work. But this means no plans for that entire day basically, but you may or may not have to work.

Pros

The employee discount, the goofy trainings, and the staff parties for product launches. I worked in a high volume store and the pace was hectic but fellow staff and managers made the experience easier.

Cons

Greedy managers who only care about advancement and feel they can treat you any way they like. This describes my last manager when I transferred to a store closer to home.

Pros

The job itself is fairly easy, the sales associates are usually really great to work with. If you are a high energy person as well as unusually outgoing, this may be the job for you.

Cons

There is a call-in aspect to their work schedule where you will have to call them 1-2 hours before a call in shift to see if you are working it or not. At my particular store we have them a lot and some of the call-ins could be anything from 6-8 hours so you can't plan your day. The managers at my store can be really difficult. There is (unusually )high turnover, at least at my store. In general, the managers want you to be pretty aggressive with selling (a.k.a hassle). In my opinion there is a difference between making a personal connection and providing knowledge with a customer in hopes of making a sale and being an obnoxious sales person.
