      Pros

      -Good professional development -Depending on which area in finance you are in, good work/life balance -Internal mobility is fairly good and people get to move to other areas of the bank

      Cons

      -Some areas of finance work very long hours -Job satisfaction isn't all that great, nor rewarding at times -Lehman/Barcap integration - still feels like two different firms in a forced marriage; culture clash -Lack of teamwork and sense of one firm; seems like everyone for themselves

      Pros

      Flexible when it comes to work.life balance

      Cons

      Company is not diverse. They make you take the 15 minute online training, but they do not practice it. What's the use? Not many opportunities for people of color Company does not promote within. Why not promote the people who are working hard, getting educated, and perform well on their jobs? Why do the good one have to leave in order to get the promotions/recognition that they deserve?

      Pros

      Very flat structure - relatively easy access to senior manangement, no hierachy, little tolerance of office politics (although in pockets they do exist). Opportunity for young talent to progress rapidly.

      Cons

      Key decisions still very much taken in a very small executive cabal - question whether integration of Lehman US will change culture.
