      Worst Internship Ever

      Pros

      Good/Friendly people, Good name. Good CEO. Other than that there really is no good reason to work in back-office finance.

      Cons

      Interning in the finance division was a horrible experience. First of all, the senior people do data entry too, so there really is no room for growth. The managers aren't concerned with training people under them. The environment is so bad that they told us during our first day of orientation that we shouldn't be in the internship program if we wanted to do front-office work. Its frowned upon for back-office people to want a front-office position.

      Large MNC bank, with a good office in Mumbai. Good team, mostly achievers and focused on work.

      Cons

      Very short term management focus. Inconsistent directions from leadership.

      They offered a fast pace working environment with an opportunity to get ahead after spending time in a certain area for a few years.

      Cons

      Management can be all over the place and will not fill you in on what is going on specifically in your division.
