Pros

Baker Tilly Virchow Krause is a great company to work for. Managers, job role, culture, organization fit and compensation all meet my expectations.

Cons

Baker Tilly Virchow Krause has a work hard play hard attitude. It sometimes makes it difficult to leave at the end of the day knowing you have to finish a project.

Pros

-Very understanding partners who care about the careers and future of employees -Challenging, yet very rewarding work -Great environment, relaxed yet professional, fun yet hard-working -Personable senior management, including regional managers and a CEO who is genuinely interested in younger professionals -Good benefits, nice work spaces

Cons

-Information technology is weak in comparison to other firms throughout the country, although it appears there is a focus on improving it -Compensation appears to be competitive with other firms. But if the company stresses it has the best of the best when it comes to all services within the firm, shouldn't the compensation be more than competitive to retain that talent? -Because of mergers in past several years, the communication across the offices is weak. Oftentimes, templates or ideas might be created by several different offices when it would be best for the firm to not waste resources, and instead have the best person involved and communicate out to others.
