Pros

Unlimited PTO and Disconnect Days are great. The firm also provide 5% to your 401K automatically. Lots of other benefits to take advantage of if you qualify.

Cons

Leadership is poor because there is not a great way to train and hold them accountable. This starts at the top by extends down to team Directors, making it hard on teams to stay happy and motivated.

Pros

Don't have many, but here are some: (1) Reasonable Pay. (2) Few senior associates who are nice and polite. They actually cared about your success.

Cons

(1) In my opinion, some managers on my team were incompetent. (2) Managers have no care in the world of what you contribute to the team. They call you at 9pm and expect you to work in the middle of the night. (3) Manager calls you on teams meeting while driving or at their sons baseball games or to the barber shop. (4) Manager has anger issues when it doesnt go their way (mainly due to lack of planning and organization). I felt bad for our clients that were not getting what they were paying for. *****(5) This is the Most important CON because Bakertilly is just a business and not for the people (in my opinion). They dont care in the world about you, PERIOD. I dont want to violate any rules on here so let me just provide a scenario. Someone was hired full-time for busy season and worked exactly 2 months and 29 days. The firm layed that person off due to the company not meeting their financial goals. This person was okay with the decision.... Until he/she found out they couldn't get unemployment pay from them because they layed them off 1 day before the unemployment requirement of 1 quarter of full-time employment. This was BY FAR the shadiest thing I have ever heard of. Thankfully keeping savings aside for things like this helps you overcome certain situations. I have a family with kids and now im blindsided by what just happened. This scenario might or might not be me. Thankfully I planned ahead, otherwise me and my family would have been in the streets.
