Intellectual stimulation Career prospects post Bain Opportunity to work with some of the brightest and most motivated people in your geography Very good pay relative to the rest of the industry although you do have to earn it
Cons
Very long hours - although monitored by HR strictly - much of the stimulating work becomes tedious due to workload Very little in the way of work life balance. You have your weekends but you spent 9am to 12pm in the office Little in the way of client interaction if your office is heavily PE weighted Poorly developed leadership skills of senior consulting staff can make it difficult if you come from another environment
