Stress free! Work life balance. Great mobility ( read cons below) for certain people. Some women also benefit. If you are senior management, you can place yourself in the talent pool reserved for Junior employees.

Are you French, or at least white? No. Sorry, no career progression then Weak pay and benefits. Haughty attitude of senior management Bureaucratic

Pros

Good benefits. Friendly colleagues. Good events from communication teams. Good partnerships. Strong international network and global reach. Great CEO Americas probably one of the best CEO for a foreign bank in the US.

Cons

Too many well paid expats. Instead of increase salaries they prefer hiring full benefits expats (schooling, housing and more.,) !! Local hiring struggles to move up and have increases. Promotion process is just a nightmare and lack of transparency. Old school management (70's). Poor English in Head office.

Cons

Pay is LOWEST on the street. Market is saturated with BNP resumes since everyone half decent wants to leave. If you want a promotion or raise you need to suck up to your French bosses.
