Pros

Generally good and friendly people to work with. Working to save lives with pacemakers is pretty cool, and lots of people willing to help you with the medical stuff you might not know. Health benefits pretty darn good.

Cons

Biotronik seems to be a hardware-oriented company and doesn't quite get the software side of things. Too many schedules are squeezed in order to attempt making a desire into reality.

Good pay and benefits, rewarding work. A talented group of professionals who manage to do much with little centralized support.

Cons

Very little opportunities for advancement. Static work groups and divisions. So many levels of management it is often difficult to find people to not booked into endless meetings and conferences.
